Depends on which way you look at it. From her persepctive $100 million now is as good as It gets. For the future of Elvis's legacy having someone other than Graceland and the family controlling the use of Elvis image and merchandise may return us to the days when Elvis's image was being exploited to make lots of money by lots of people. BMG already do that to some degree obviously as they need to make money but overall that has generally helped Elvis Image in latter years. We shall see what the future holds as only in the future will we truly know whether the move was a good one or bad one for the king's legacy.

Im Sorry, but right now there is no way to assess and evaluate that critique. Jack Soden has said over the last few years that he was looking for someone to help take Elvis to even higher places. So, maybe we can judge this change accurately in about two or three years. For now, we have to get behind the future plans, and make sure Elvis is in the forefront of Mr.Sillermans mind as he plans his strategies. He should use Elvis as the anchor to all his marketing strategies, even the ones that have little to do with Elvis. I'm sure the concept can relate to or reflect off Elvis in some way. We have to make our voices heard, only when it's important to do so, and we as Elvis fans usually know when to do that. We trust our gut, and our heart at the same time.. Hopefully; A new day is to become!! Be Patient!

In my opinion this was a very unwise decision. I understand the financial pressures and problems that E.P.E must have been going through , but there should have been a better way to pay off the Bills. I myself would have retained his name and such but allowed marketing agents to use it. But Lisa made this decision, I hope it does not come back and haunt her! I have been an Elvis fan over 40 years To me this was unwise. But The Deed Has Been Done Now, I pray that She will Not live To Regret this Decisin. I Hope That this Companty That Bought The 85% will not Do Wrong By The Buy out. I wish I Could have talked to Her Before she did this. Kay Gibbons, Houston Texas

During the last few years lisa has sold so many private belongings of his father and lost chances to buy-back things of his fathers. Even that I never understood. Till today I couldn´t understand how they "handle" the things inside Graceland (for example to show his suits for a long time with no protection, so that many fans could and have touched it and the air condition could ruin the clothes etc.) That she sold his farthers name is unbelievable, but it´s a follow up to many strange things. If the only reason (as said often) is to make the legend bigger than it is, than Lisa could have "paid" a marketing company to do a job, it´s not "a must" to sell EPE to reach this goal??? We will see. I hope and pray, that the result is not a "selling with no matter where it will end" policy. I cross two fingers...
