Too bad Tupelo '57 (my favourite of all hip-shakin' Elvis onstage) has no sound... but I've always wanted to have this on DVD, 'cause it's so cool. But nothing new or impressive, I'm sure that on Tupelo '56 the put the sound of the concert we already have on A Golden Celebration over the footage... I've seen bits before on The Great Perfomances I think it was. But I want this DVD!

I always wondered why nobody saw this oppertunity earlier. The audio was available when it was released many years ago on the golden box set. It was about time that somebody pieced this audio together with the existing movie clips to re-create a true performance of Elvis in the Fifties. Now, finally sound and vision come together.

This looks interesting. I just wish the Coloniel would have spent the extra money to film as well as recorded as many Elvis early performances as possible. The 1957 Tupelo show would be awesome to see as well as hear in it's entirety. It's a shame the many many opportunities missed. But this set looks good.

Nothing said about the sound, will it be 5.1 again ? Let's hope so.
