Recycling the King to make money any which way they can. Squeeze a buck here & there from those fans willing to buy the same stuff under a different cover.

Well, I mostly agree with you but in fairness, they have quietly reissued and remastered the original three Elvis gospel albums which are in stores now - if you still can find a store that sells Cds! The CD market is in death throes in some ways, so the sort of last minute cashing in is somewhat understandable as the folks who buy these rather clumsy tins are mostly seeing them in huge stores like BEST BUY, card stores and a few other places. It's a shrinking market, no doubt but it's an open question if this is the dignified way to go out! But for casual fans, the box looks like some kind of "event." It's not for most of us, to say the least, except for the most rabid of Elvis collectors.

I guess since the CD market is basically dead (I agree with you there) I guess tins are the new thing to try & get a product sold. Poof - a new collectible fad like colored vinyl was in the early 80's when record sales started to dip.

inspirational or not, that candle can become very handy for burning the entire package..

Next they'll be selling a big tin to put all these tins in!
