the cover seems beautiful to me, but who needs another compilation?
JerryNodak wrote on March 17, 2007
Personally, I don't need this. But it's got a great tracklist. Somebody will buy this.

So happy I'm not a true collector.. I would have gone broke a long time ago ending up with 300 times the same songs on LP/cassette and CD/DVD but with different covers. Wait.. I'm gonna collect covers...It never ends!!

interesting, the sun years in an RCA studio photo, after he had his cheek implants....get it wrong like everything else

Here we go again; another foto that don`t match the title nor the interior of the cd. Why? Can`t be that hard to find one among thousands of pics that would match......incredible to me. Besides - the title selection couldn`t have taken all the time, since these are the ones being repeated the most, over and over and over.......a little less simplicity, a little more fantasy, please!

I'm not one who buys a cd for its cover. But if I was I'd buy this one. I love it. Even if it doesn't match the contents. Which has been the case with many Elvis releases and has never bothered me.

Really, noone noticed the 6 last songs were recorded at RCA?? I think the cover is beautiful, much more that some on official BMG releases. Also, someone told me lately that Elvis passed away some years ago. So, all we can expect is compilations like this one.

Question. Mystery Rider - what cheek implants? I've read a zillion books and know nothing of this. Is that a joke? If not, and you sincerely believe it to be true, can you or anyone tell me where I can confirm that?

Mystery Rider you made me laugh you must be M.J. fan this is ELVISnews not Jacko's littleboysnews...

PaulFromFrance: I noticed, but I just cosidered them "bonus" tracks. Isn't the first Elvis release where the entire tracklist didn't match the "concept." Still a great tracklist
Colonel wrote on March 18, 2007
Great cover "which comes from the "King Creole"-sessions), great tracklist and great bonus songs (which don't fit in with the concept). Probably one of the better releases.

Mystery Rider: these are bullet proof cheeks. Let's all wait for the FTD book, will we?
Anton wrote on March 19, 2007
Yes Paul, Matthias, Colonel, Erhan: we don't understand BMG neither! By the way missing on this one: Lawdy MsC, Shake r&roll, Jerry, chichen, Stanton: you're right, cover photo has nothing to do with content of CD. Who at BMG is checkding here? Does EPE let go? No control? Shame on all of you; while so many of us are waiting for those truly great future releases that make sense: Studio session outtakes of PromLand, Gman, BLove (sales could esxceed 450,000 copies to die-hard fans) and Movie outtakes of Roust, KCousins, KCreole, Speedway a.o. could sell over 250,000 copies bringing unprecedented huge profits for BMG and EPE, Lisa & Priscilla (better than the deal with Cuddle-downers) Hope they will find the way back to reality someday and not make further marketing mistakes, making fun of us!

Anton: Wake up and smell the coffee. Quit babbling. This album isn't a Sony/BMG release. The movie releases you want? They don't have outtakes for anything you mention except "King Creole." Other albums such as "Promised Land" will get a release on FTD in due time. The potential sales figures you mention? Very unlikely.

Prior to his first screen test in april of 56 Elvis went for a "touch up" by dr Morry Parks Plastic surgeon his nose was straightened his acne was smoothed Dr parks also inserted to give the illusion of a chiseled chin accenteding his jawline, also the dentist capped his front teeth for which he had a medium sized space. thus the illusion of a newer elvis than fron the stage shows in early 56. Look close and you will se it.
