There's never been a bad Madison and this one will surely keep that streak of high-quality alive!I'll be picking this gem up and I'm betting most of you will want it too.

This is a great teaser for what we can expect to come. Am I alone in thinking that waiting for ages for the complete On Tour set isn't such a bad thing? If we were bombarded with everything at once what else would there to be looking forward to? Apart from the CBS tapes of course......... and TTWII! We got the '68 and Aloha released at the same time not too long ago and it was too much to pay at once and too much to take in and enjoy IMHO........ This is one of the reasons I am still interested and excited about new stuff like this coming out. If there are biscuits in the barrel all the time, where's the fun in biscuits?? ;0)

I have to agree its great quality,i would rather have a differt pic,i was really hopeing for the hampton roads show complete, looks like i might just hang on to the hampton roads concert put out by triangle.as for there never being a bad madison release, some of the legendary performer cd's were not essential to me,i like my music in more of an order than studio, live,& rehearsal material being thrown on to one disc, like i said madsion offers great products, but since i speak about what i find wonrg with Ftd,i will be fair!

Im sure this will be a hit with many fans and Madison always gives good product, but 9 takes of For The Good Times? Sorry. I just cant listen to take after take anymore and I always thought that song was a bit boring. We all know this was filmed. I hope for a DVD of On Tour one day with all the extra footage (or most of it) and then this will be totally non-essential. You young cats may see this one day, we older cats are getting worried.

I really like the name and the layout of the title. It is sounds good and it gives meaning. But as mentioned before, the release is basicly for die-hard/must-have-all fans. Even if Madison stands for quality, the cover is beautiful and the session is interesting to follow because you can hear the devellopment of the songs, a session was never meant to be entertainment. I have all five "American Way" releases. Beautiful and interesting releases with Elvis at his very best! But I can not manage more than a total of 2-3 times in the CD-player. Now the CD's are shelf-fillers. The fly-on-the-wall perspective of Elvis' studio process, sometimes takes away the magic of the final product in my opinion. But this is only me. If you love complete studio sessions, I think this release will be the perfect Christmas gift to yourself:-)

Thats why i loved the Essential Elvis series, but now its high priced Ftds with outtakes i have,i hope madison release the rehearsals from july 1970,its not just one song over and over, why was there a mock session? i find that rather silly, after all it was called Elvis on tour not Elvis in the studio and fake at that!

Yes Mature Pal BUT most fans agree with us: too many (slightly) different packages CONFUSE fans and make them select what to buy. Does anyone have a web site for Triangle & Madison releases ? And Johnny, your on your own, son !35 years we've been waiting already for that EonT 72 Box. Are you kiddin'...enough is enough...hint Ernst. Why does Scud say that the Quality of this Hillcrest Blues CD is bad. Agree though with Jesse. This cover is not creative at all...boring.
