May 08, 2004 | Video
Here is the cover art for the Warner Home Video region 1 DVD release "It Happened At The World's Fair". Arriving on 3rd August 2004 with a retail price of $14.97 each all films are remastered in new 16x9 digital transfers, in a format preserving the “scope” aspect ratio of their original theatrical exhibition, enhanced for widescreen TVs. The DVDs also include an Elvis Presley trailer gallery.

Great idea to use the original poster artwork on the cover. "World's Fair" has always been one of my favorite Elvis films and soundtracks.

This is Superb cover art. Just compare this with the cheap artwork on the KID GALAHAD or CLAMBAKE DVD covers. What a Shame! Still its never too late, maybe next time Paramount re-release their Elvis DVDs again, they will be smart enough to use the original Cinema Poster as their Artwork. Can you imagine how nice it would be if they had put the original theater Poster of KID GALAHAD on the DVD? IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD'S FAIR is a Superb Movie. I can't wait for its release on DVD - will definately buy this one.

I agree with the comments that It Happened At The World's Fair is an excellant movie. Elvis gives a good acting performance and the cast is excellant.Very underated, and at least as good as most of the family faire released during 1963. It really should be up there with films like Help, Trouble With Angels, or Where the Boys Are. Fun, sort of innocent, but very enjoyable and with good production values. Recomended viewing. Some people automatically think that because a film was aimed at the youth market,it's of poor quality. By the way is Kid Gallahad actually out on DVD? I don't recall it being released.

Finally good artwork! Warner did it earlier with Viva Las Vegas & Jailhouse Rock...A shame that paramount and 20th c. fox don't use movie posters for their releases! This is stunning!
