I'm with you "TCB" and "Tony", I can't hardly wait either! So excited to even think of these great DVD's! I'm a 38 year old Elvis fan who's about as excited as I've ever been about a Elvis release! The only thing that could compare would be seeing Elvis in person, which unfortunately will never happen.

Can't control myself! If I had to do, I'll steal, so if you live in Madrid, take my advice: don't go out the 22nd of june, I'm dangerous. I'll buy them both (Aloha and Comeback) and then I won't get out from home for at leat two weeks. (Oh, Lord! What did I've ever done to deserve such a wonder)

Big Boss, you can write privates to me if you want. Here, in Spain, we don't know where we could find those DVDs. In fact I've been trying to get in touch with somebody of the BMG Spain staff and all that I have got is ''please, don't write us anymore 'cause we're not here to answer you''. You know... It's aching and useless to be an Elvis fan in this lovely country. I'm afraid that we have to buy them via Internet.

Oooooooh! Sometimes I lose my opportunities to close my (big)mouth. The BMG Spain staff have answerd me: these DVDs will be released in Spain so we could find them in El Corte Ingles. Though at first they (BMG) have been a little bit rude with their answers, now I think they're very kind. I hope they accept my apologises from this website.
Ahmet wrote on May 13, 2004
Great DVD's but why two press conferance (Las Vegas and Hawaii) not included this set?
dismas wrote on May 13, 2004
No need to apologize, Joliverma, BMG should be apologizing to you! They should be thrilled that fans are so eagerly awaiting the arrival of these DVDs, especially since it seems to be a fan-driven phenomenon. Have you seen any pre-release hype by BMG in your neck of the international woods? I haven't seen one bit of promo here in the USA. So, all things considered, BMG should be thanking (and helping) the fans and websites like ElvisNews for getting out the news. As close as June 22 may actually be, like you, I just can't wait -- but we'll just have to hold on. The big payoff will surely be worth the wait!

Ahmet, EPE has already said that the Aloha Press conferences will not be included, for guess why. Copyright reasons! I guess they will splurge for the 35th Anniversary of the Aloha. As for myself, I cannot wait for June 22nd, Aloha, 68 Comeback on DVD, Elvis at Sun (Japan Version with xtra track) And the Sun cd single, expensive day in June for me and many Elvis fans, but I love it!

WOW!!! Less than six weeks to go.
lray wrote on May 15, 2004
They also do not mention Fever, Suspicious Minds etc. because it is not a complete list. But I agree that it would be good to see Johnny B. listed because in was one that was in question before. Let us know if you hear back with an email from them.

If you want to see the list of songs at Elvis.com you click on, Shop, and then you can find both the new DVD's. It isn't a complete song list but it does list some of the songs included in the set.

In recent years we have been treated to some great releases that have left everyone with no doubt about Elvis' massive talent and his global popularity. These DVDs can only enhance this. With the very latest sound and picture quality, I can only say that I'm glad I got my big-screen Dolby Digital telly! Roll on June!! Thanks to EPE/BMG, its gonna be a wicked Summer.

I can;t wait to see the re-edited from scratch version, without all those weird split screens that are in the original. This should be great!

I have to say that this is the first time I have ever seen all positive fan comments for an upcoming release except for the art work. I believe this will be a dramatic improvement over the original release. I will buy this DVD as soon as it hits the shelves.

Wow! This dvd will be so fantastic. Now I'm realy counting the days until the release. After years waiting and waiting and waiting. We are realy going to get this dvd. THANKS

This is all great. Now let's see the Promotion blitz.. Again this is key to bring Elvis to the new generation. George Michael releases and Elvis tribute song next week, and next month former Pres. Clinton has a chapter dedicated to Elvis in his biography. EPE and BMG have a once in a lifetime opportunity to capitalize on this movement to really give Elvis the 50th anniv celebration he deserves. We need it, and the world needs it during this time of pre-fab manufactured pop music. Timing could'nt be better. Help get this message to both BMG and EPE. They have the sponsors, now they need the right strategy

I'm like the rest of you: I can't wait! But I would have love to have seen the press conferences and I would love if Aloha and '68 would get the same treatment as That's The Way It Is: Special Edition, that's is to say "the boxset verison" which had posters and other material (but no difference in the movie) ...I would have love to have known about the boxset-version before I accidentally ran into TTWIS:SE in a store (with out all the cool stuff). But please don't take this as another nag ...excellent work EPE! And I am going to buy the Aloha and the '68!!
Jon Burrows wrote on May 13, 2004
Oh, sorry there is supposed to be memorabilia included... but does anyone know whether or not the European and for that matter the Asian version had any commercials and/or TV commentary???
elvishimselvis wrote on May 13, 2004
I heard their will be a small preview of the new DVDs on the off Elvis site... anyone know then this will happen??
Pierjo wrote on May 15, 2004
Unfortunately I will not be able to watch those two amazing deluxe editions (Comeback and Aloha) just because they will not be released on a VHS format. Well! Finders keepers, losers weepers! As Elvis would say: You can not please everyone! Anyway that's how I will be!
