Apparently released in China is this 5 DVD box we found on eBay. It contains the "68 Comeback Special Deluxe Edition" (2DVD), "Aloha From Hawaii (2 DVD Set)" and "Elvis That's The Way It Is Special Edition". The DVD set is NTSC format and region free.

The Chinese know how to do it.

That's great news. I hear that Wal-Mart is the biggest thing there, so I hope they can run an advertisement clip to give these gems maximum exposure. They will catch on in a big way, if promoted in a visual audio way. The young people have to see it, to get it. We have a few big years coming, so get ready , and spread the word....The rest of 05, 06, and 07 will be very good to Elvis....There are so many things planned that it's real exciting.. Enjoy!

I wonder if this is an officially licensed product or a Far East pirate? If it is official, it would be unusual for "That's The Way It Is" to be included in a package with the two TV specials, as they are owned by different companies.

Gribz I suggest in future you listen to someone who knows what the hell they're talking about or you've been on the magic mushrooms again. 'Wal-Mart is the biggest thing there'. Sorry dude way off the mark. Wal-Mart is not only not the 'biggest thing there' its not even the largest foreign supermarket chain -that honour belongs to Carrefour. The largest supermarket group by far is the local Shanghai Hualian. Besides what Wal-Mart had to do with this post god only knows. BTW, why is it that whenever anyone quotes business statistics here, they're invariably wrong. As for Wal-Mart running an 'advertsing clip' well such stupidity doesn't even merit a response, so none....

No Hamburgerbrain. Wal-mart is not a super market for one thing. And, another thing is: If you don't think Wal-mart is big, tell the owners. The family is the richest family in the world, with over 150 billion dollars in net worth.

Yes 'criticise' is the correct spelling but you guys cool it. There's no need for Elvis fans to fights let alone here. Hamston, we know from all your previous posts that you know what you're talking about and it is evident that you are highly educated and professionally successful, of which you have a right to be justly proud but there's no need to try to belittle gribz, even if he's wrong about a number of things. No one else here could be expected to know about business around the world and frankly no one cares about retailing in China or anything here other than Elvis. From a number of posts i've seen from you, you come across as a knowledgeable -about business, Elvis, everything - there are many people here who love hearing your views on things but you need to calm the arrogance and aggression. These traits are overshadowing the value of your posts.

What on earth has the attributes of Wal-Mart or the correct spelling of certain words got to do with this DVD set, or the Elvis world in general?

This is about the Chinese 5 DVD box-set. Why all the fighting, name-calling and childish quarreling here ? Who cares about Wal-mart or Carrefour or Shanghai Hualian? This is already a big seller for Elvis with or without these supermarkets. Because copies of these are available at the night markets stalls in Hong Kong and China. Because this 5 DVD box-set is not an unofficial release but a pirated copy.

correction: this 5 DVD box-set is NOT an official release.

Yes Harmston, having a successful career is no substitute for being a decent human being. As for having a superior intellect, well your response answers that by itself. Have you heard of the phrase - "Thou protests too much".
