Swedish Update
"50 Greatest Love Songs" entered the Swedish charts ("normal" charts for the full price albums) this week. As we reported a week ago, BMG started promotion campaigns in the Sweden on television for the album. This week (49) the album entered the chart at #56. The "Swedish Hit Collection" dropped from the "Mid price" charts .

"America The Beautiful" remains at #7 on Billboard Hot 100 Sales Chart in the U.S. In the UK, "America The Beautiful" fell from #69 to #84 in charts. In The Netherlands it dropped from #55 to #63 in its 3rd week.

Maybe the "50 Greatest Love Songs" will re-enter some charts, BMG started promotion campaigns in the U.K. and Sweden on television. In Norway there's also a commercial, which contains some footage from Madison Square Garden (b/w), where a Golden record from Norway is presented to Elvis. "50 Greatest Hits" entered the album charts in Norway this week on #8. In Finland the album already entered the charts at #40.

In Sweden the "Swedish Hit Collection" entered a special chart for "Mid Price Albums" at #4 two weeks ago. Last week it dropped to #6. In Denmark "Greatest Hits" dropped from the charts again.
