I don't think we've seen the last of the On Tour material. I hold hopes that there will be a Special Edition DVD someday, including the concert footage not included in the movie. I also believe that we will see the official release of The Hampton Roads Concert, Greensboro, and Richmond on CD sometime in the not too distant future. As for the San Antonio show, it's already the one and only complete official concert release on CD, but that doesn't mean they won't re-release it along with the rest. The fact that On Tour made it to DVD means that Turner/MGM is willing to deal. The rest is just timing.

Can't see why MGM doesn't release the stuff. Only reason I could imagine is the cost of remastering. But they have done it with more senseless stuff before. And if EPE pumps a few 100.000 bugs of the millions the fans brought them into the production it should be possible.

Sony/ BMG or Warner Bros should start pumping out the movies in blurays to preserve the legacy & for the anniversaries start making noise with unreleased material. The old days when Elvis releases came out their were big displays in the cd stores. Don't put it in shows like Modern Families. Watched the promotion talk on youtube from Graceland Enterprises. Add Elvis songs in movies & animated features to kids. And of course continue with Graphic Elvis in comics!

Do they mean the Richmond show by the Virginia show? Great to know they have the complete show. I actually think the Richmond show is best of all shows they filmed. I hope someone will release it. Hopefully in 10 years, when in Europe we release our own versions because the copyright restrictions will expire.

I hope this statement is as reliable as Clinton's 'I had no sexual relations with that woman'

Boxcar with almost certainly steer very clear of bootleg releases in the future after the legal problems they had with EPE over their "The Final Curtain" box set. I would imagine everything they do and plan will be watched very carefully.

That's a pity. Given the same treatment as TTWII and EIC, this would have been a great set. Let's hope the idea is just on ice. Maybe give it a low profile release unlike the last one from Boxcar!
