Bobby Emmons, one of 'The Memphis Boys' who played at the American Sound Studio, passed away just after his 72nd birthday. The sad news was announced by BJ Thomas, who like Elvis recorded with him.

I'm amazed that this part of Elvis legacy has never been documented on DVD. Someone needs to do an in depth story of this while some of the guys involve are still alive.
