According to a posting on the 2nd To None messagaboard states that the "Ultimate Gospel" compilation failed to enter the Top 200, but goes to #37 in Country charts.

Gospel music is generally considered a niche market, so this really comes as no big surprise. However, like all of Elvis' previous sacred albums -- originals and compilations alike -- I'm sure "Ultimate Gospel" will show strong and longtime sales over time. In the meantime, we should all get out and support it as best we can right now.

How do we expect 'Elvis ultimate Gospel' to enter the chart, when BMG did absolutely nothing to promote it...It's ashame really , they could piggy back off all the success of 'the Passion'...
