Australian Sales New Releases

July 09, 2004 | Video
The '68 Comeback Special' DVD has now qualified for Platinum status in Australia with BMG shipping in excess of 16,000 units. The DVD is selling well and is expected to top the ARIA Music DVD chart next week.

'That's All Right' is also selling well in Australia and looks set for a top 20 or even top 10 chart position. Sales are not sufficient for the single to top the singles chart in Australia, as is a possibility in the UK.

Elvis At SUN is not reported to be selling in high numbers and therefore we do not expect it to chart very high, but hopefully it will make the top 50.

BMG have shipped around 8,400 copies of the 'Elvis At Sun' CD and 12,100 of the 'That's All Right' CD single.

The Aloha DVD set will be released on July 19 after being delayed due to a fault on the first disc.

Gold status in Australia for CD's (Album and singles) is 35,000 units and 70,000 for Platinum. Gold status for DVD's is 7,500 and 15,000 for Platinum.
