Auctions Without Success

January 18, 2007 | Other
It seems to be that not all of Elvis possesions are a warranty for making big money. Lately, there are some exclusive properties that are announced with a lot of publicity but did not find a new buyer. Last night, the auction of a 1972 Cadillac ended different as expected. Only one bid for $30.000 was placed, but that was not enough to meet the minimum price. During the holidays, the white grand piano that stood in Graceland for many years was presented as the 'perfect christmas gift'. Because of the musical history that is linked to the instrument, the owner hoped to break the record of Lennons grand piano (George Michael bought it a few years ago for $2.000.000).
Just before the end of the auction, the highest bid was only $200.000, it dissapeared from the auction site shortly after it ended and untill now, it remains silent if the piano was sold or not.

According to a story on this site earlier, the last known owner of Elvis' 1972 Cadillac was EPE!!!! Nothing was said as to why they are selling it! Does Lisa Marie need more money??

This case interests me very much, since I am in the process of finding out who owns the big mobile Elvis -Foosteps - Exhibition. They made people think it was Stanley for a while, but after all rumors are that it is owned by a scandinavian. And now the items are ALL for sale, and there are labors going on that they have to be listed by a notary in U.S.A. first. All pretty confusing, and not easy to comprehend when you are supposed to get involved -since the notary fee is pretty high, like 7 numbers long, not talking about a comma in between!!!!

But Kurt Cobain made 50 million last year........ very dear vulcandude and newpapers remember us the new all days. I open a magazine and I see the new about how Cobain beats Elvis Presley as the dead celebrity more rich. And open other magazine and I see it again and I open other newspaper and I see the new again and so until the eternity. And now I see this news and ...gaghhh !!!! how many million will sell EPE for to gain the first place in Forbes again? And like stanton worte: all is pretty confusing
