Julien's Auctions feature lots of ELVIS in their May 19 MUSIC ICONS live auction at Hard Rock Cafe New York and online. The auction includes a diamond star-shaped ring (estimate $100,000) given by Elvis to 20-year-old fan Donna Lewis who was stood in the front row at the gig in 1975. 

Also featuring Elvis' guitar a 1968 prototype solid rosewood Fender Telecaster electric guitar made for Elvis by Fender Custom Shop (estimate: $100,000).  Other iconic Presley items offered are his collection of stunning jewelry, his heavily embellished white leather belt worn in a 1972 performance in Hawaii and in his well-known jeweled "Thunderbird" ensemble, gifted to actor and friend Jack Lord (estimate $40,000) and Presley's blue suede jacket,

Elvis Presley Thunderbird ensemble (estimate: -$8,000), a red Western shirt and a pair of dark blue Wrangler denim jeans worn by Elvis in 'Stay Away, Joe', a custom deerskin vest and matching pants custom made for Elvis Presley by North Beach Leather in the mid-1970s, Presley's handwritten note and list of songs believed to be the last note written by Presley before his death (estimate: $8,000-$10,000), a ruby and diamond ring designed in 14K yellow gold, depicting a male head wearing a turban gifted by Presley to Tom Hulett and more

Not Elvis but a standout artifact that changed the course of music history is Bob Dylan's handwritten lyrics written on St. Regis New York hotel stationery of Bob Dylan's 1963 classic "Blowin' in the Wind," joins the auction set list; this original Dylan manuscript is estimated to sell between $50,000-$70,000.

The auction takes place on May 19.

Elvis' STAR RING from is at current bid $55,000; 

A diamond star-shaped ring given by Elvis Presley to a concert-goer Donna Lewis on July 24, 1975, during a performance at the Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The ring is designed in 14K white gold, topped with 50 full-cut round diamonds totaling approximately 6.00 cts. and graded H-I color and VS-SI clarity, size 7 1/2. 25.4 grams. Accompanying the ring is a photograph of Lewis and Presley at the moment he gave her the ring; an image of Presley wearing the ring; an affidavit from Lewis; and two images of Presley with a thank-you card given to him at a concert on March 18, 1976, in Johnson City, Tennessee.

A Rosewood Telecaster by the Fender Custom Shop? This is a complete surprise to me. I think someone has her or his artist mixed up here. This web site needs to auydit some of this "crap".
