After the success of the Aloha and 68 DVD multidisc sets it seems logical that the next step should be a complete over-view of Elvis' 50's TV performances. As you were directly involved in the 'Great Performances' projects you have access to the 1st generation masters of all this TV work. Have you been approached or could you push for this much needed historical document?

Do you know how much more out takes and other unreleased film clips are available with Warners/MGM/Turner/ EPE - especially TTWII / On Tour ? Were you allowed to view unrestricred all the film while researching for " this is Elvis2 and the " Great Performance" series - Do you have specifics or a just a rough idea of what you saw. Thank you.

Although I enjoyed watching "This Is Elvis," I could never quite buy the technique of having someone narrating it in elvis' voice. Would it not be possible to do a special edition in which you compiled together all the various known elvis interviews for a vocal "narration" as spoken by elvis himself, and without any of the visual re-enactments, replacing these with longer sections of actual elvis? Essentially, I'm saying, put the original theatrical version on one disc and a revamped one on another? Would this be possible? Thanks! (By the way, I still remember a TV special called Heroes of Rock and Roll, narrated by Jeff Bridges, in which I first saw much elvis footage from the fifties for the first time. Any chance this special could be released one day? It really put elvis in a wonderful context with the rest of the 50s musical experience.)
