I heard a version of Al's Here in My Heart on the sitcom Benidorm last week still a great number and one that will be remembered together with Spanish Eyes which was also by the late crooner.

Al Martino i believe recorded in the mid 60's "Mary in the Morning". I think that's where Elvis discovered it.Beautiful song.

"Here In My Heart" is worthy of its fame in topping the first published chart of top selling records in the U.K., in November 1952. Great melody, great performance.

Rest in piece... So sad that many emotional song writers and performers die and the new ones do not appear.

I remember my parents listening to his records and I actually have this album, he was a pretty good singer. My condolences go out to his family and friends, may he rest in peace along side with The King.
