This is the new 3 CD tin can edition of "Love Elvis" from Sony / BMG Canada. It features 30 tracks and has the same tracklisting as the 2005 "Love Elvis" edition. The "unreleased" version of "For The Good Times" is the same "unreleased" version as on the 2005 edition (alternate take 3).

The single CD is now available in the UK at £5 retail; its in Woolworth and other chain stores ready for Valentines Day. theoldscudder, does "pancake" call you theoldtosser?

Why would any long time fan in the year 2008 even consider buying this? Jerry you would buy it if it had a different cover? So you buy according to covers even if you have the songs a zillion times? Maybe 25 years ago I may have thought like this as an Elvis collector (on vinyl) but money seems to be more important to me now than different covers. Also Ive learned there is other great music out there I havent discovered yet both by living & deceased artists.

Steve, I agree with you 100%. I will go one further even the pics on the tin have been previously released. So you get absolutely nothing. One question needs to be asked why would a guy want these tins?
