Elvis performed at the Sports Arena, Savannah, Georgia at 7.00 and 9.30 p.m. Elvis told local reporters: "I can't believe that music could cause anybody to do anything wrong. And what I'm doing is nothing but music."

Elvis arrived at RCA's Studio B in Nashville to cut new singles material. However, the session starts, with three songs that would end up on his Pot Luck album in 1962. The sessions lasted till early morning hours.

Elvis rehearsed from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. for the informal part of the show. Afterwards he spent some time with the dancers and the Blossoms practicing the gospel medley. From 3.00 to 5.00 p.m. the Guitar Man segment was rehearsed by the entire crew. At 6.15 p.m. there was a press conference.

Elvis performed at the Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, Ohio. When the air-conditioning in his hotel broke down Elvis left to look for a new hotel. After an energetic performance Elvis flew home to Memphis to get a good night's rest.
