After long negotiations between Elvis and Priscilla's parents in which Elvis had convinced them to allow Priscilla to fly to Los Angeles, Priscilla finally arrived from Germany for a 2 week visit.

Elvis reported to rehearsals at the NBC studios in Burbank, California, at 1.00 p.m. for a meeting with Billy Goldenberg, Steven Binder's musical arranger. From 3.00 to 5.00 p.m. there was a dance rehearsal with Jaime Rogers. Lance LeGault was present also, and helped Elvis with his dance sequences. This schedule was repeated the next two days.
