Elvis completed the recording of the soundtrack of Wild In The Country between 9.00 and 11.45 a.m. There were 2 different versions of I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell recorded. One for the movie and the other for a single release.

Elvis was visited on the set of It Happened At The World's Fair by his father and the Memphis mayor, where the mayor officially accepted Elvis' donation of $50,000 for a couple of Memphis charities.

Elvis had to send Priscilla back to Memphis in order to avoid trouble because Ann-Margret was quoted in the press that she was in love with Elvis and didn't know if they would marry.
