May 06, 1955: The show played in Birmingham, Alabama, with Scotty and Bill but without Elvis, who returned to Memphis. There he attended Dixie's junior prom.
May 06, 1956: During his final show at the New Frontier Hotel Elvis introduced "Blue Suede Shoes" as: "This song here is called 'Get out of the stables, Grandma, you're too old to be horsing around'".
May 06, 1957: Elvis reported to the MGM studio to meet with the producer and the director of Loving You. He got Clark Gable's dressing room and the rest of the week was spent with costume fittings, makeup tests and dace rehearsals.
May 06, 1960: Elvis worked at Radio Recorders from 1.00 to 10.00 p.m. recording for G.I. Blues.
May 06, 1974: Elvis flew to Los Angeles to get ready for a short California tour, which would be followed by another Tahoe engagement.
May 06, 1975: Elvis performed at the Middle Tennessee state University Athletic Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
May 06, 1977: Back home in Memphis Elvis spent most of the next 2 weeks upstairs at Graceland.
