The Press Conferences Vol. 2

After their first Press Conferences CD we now received volume 2. It seems Elvis Unlimited tries to complete every recorded spoken word by Elvis.

Design

The digipack has a nice design, both the image from the New York press conference and army photo make a whole. In stead of the information on the Elvis Unlimited magazine we would have liked to see some more background information on the press conferences to put them in the right (historical) perspective. The disk itself is a picture disk with the same image as the front cover.


Content

Does this start where volume 1 stopped, no, we get two interviews from the fifties, August 31, 1957 Vancouver, Canada and September 22, 1958 – Brooklyn, New York and one seventies interview from November 20, 1972, recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii. In total almost 49 minutes of complete press conferences.

To be honest, there is not so much new to be said about these kinds of releases. The sound quality is o.k. regarding the sources, and it is good to have all interviews in our collection in a good quality and a nice package.

Conclusion

The Press Conferences volume 2 is another nice to have CD to complete the talking only collection.
