Just before Christmas the classic album Kissin' Cousins - as in part of this series - arrived.
Design
The presentation has the usual "classic album" treatment. Nice pics, liner notes by Alan Hanson (from 2008!) and lots of memorabilia.
Content
In my book this is certainly not the worst soundtrack, far from it I may even add. An album with Long Lonely Highway must have a lot of rubbish to make it bad.
Especially on the ballads Elvis sounds superior to Anyone. That's exactly what showcases the weakness of this release: the many instrumental tracks. Without Elvis' voice most are rubbish.
With the announcement I saw people complaining that there was no second CD, if even with mono versions. This makes more sense to me now.
Conclusion
The first half of the CD is ok, after that the stop button will be used often.
