Just a vinyl release ? I was also expecting either a complete sessions or a live double since their new product lines normally come in two's. Weird ??

Had RCA done an LP release in '65 to coincide with the release of the movie I almost certainly would have been a buyer. Now? I'll have to think on it.

Still play the bootleg regularly... just for ol' times sake.

I generally like the FTD vinyl releases. They are not essential but they are "nice to have"! They take me on a trip down memory lane. This one has a stylish cover that wouldn't have looked out of place in the mid 60's. I am not too keen though on the choice of photo of Elvis. My favourite FTD vinyl covers are "On Stage Special Edition" & "Kissin' Cousins"
