Yesterday's long mountain stage in the Vuelta was a good moment to catch up with the latest OEPFC magazine. A very entertaining - and recognizable - editorial opens this September/October issue. Then a rerun of an article from Elvis Monthly (November 1968!) with first hands experiences from the NBC special is a very good read. Several pages more on the NBC special, among it a 1969 convention report where the 1968 special was first shown in the UK. Then we get an original by Gary Pepper on the 1969 Vegas return. Last but not least an article to defend that other man we never stop talking about: Col. Parker. In between the regulars are available too.
