Agree Mike, 'legendary' is too far fetched. Though they're both interesting given the line up which include unreleased versions of Proud Mary and Promised Land. Also it's from the better end of the engagement before Elvis cancelled shows from the 26th, where the rumours started swirling and took their toll on him. Good selection of the shows and bonus songs.

Finally, a FTD release I will actually buy. It's been a long time since I bought one, because FTD has released over a period of time concerts that were released on bootleg already. This is a nice welcome. Thanks FTD team.

Interesting selection of songs from this new FTD release. I hope the sound quality is also excellent. It's been a while since the FTD team did not release a CD like that.

... and why a photo from 13. May 1974 in San Bernadino and not a photo from the August/September concerts in Las Vegas ???

From the photo's in Erik Lorenzon's King Of Vegas book, FTD could've used at least 3 shot's of Elvis in the same Phoenix jumpsuit from this Vegas stint, for the front cover. Another thing I find weird is the use of the word 'STEREO' below the RCA motif considering that these soundboard tapes used are in mono.

I hope the sound quality of this set is much better than the cover photo and the unimaginative title. I'll wait for reviews of the shows before deciding to purchase or not.
