The Essential Elvis' Upgrade

'The Essential Elvis' (double album) has been upgraded by the R.I.A.A. to Platinum status. In doing so it has made Elvis and Garth Brooks tied for the amount of albums sold in the U.S.A. (according to R.I.A.A. rules) with 136 million each. However, Elvis is still awaiting for the following to be certified / upgraded which would give him 137 million sales:

1. 'An Afternoon In The Garden' has sold 536,136 units (Soundscan) as of w/e 6th April, 2013 thereby making it eligible for a new GOLD Award.
2. 'Elvis 'Christmas Duets' has sold 510,085 units (Soundscan) as of w/e 12th January, 2013 thereby making it eligible for a new GOLD Award.

Another video upgrade is also overdue:
'He Touched Me' (Volume 1) (Video Longform) has sold 218,102 units (Soundscan) as of w/e 6th April, 2013 making it eligible for an upgrade from Platinum to 2 X Multi-Platinum.

According to the article those sales figures are 3 years old. I wonder if the recent album IICD with the LPO will ever get to gold in the US?
