Graceland Lighting Ceremony

November 07, 2013 | Other

Graceland will officially begin the holiday season by “flipping the switch” on the traditional lights and decorations during the annual lighting ceremony on Friday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m CT. The extensive Christmas display includes hundreds of blue lights along the driveway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh, and much more, all originally displayed at Graceland by Elvis and the Presley family. Santa, decked out like the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, will be available for pictures with the kids following the lighting ceremony. The FREE lighting event is open to the public.

Elvis fans not able to join us for the 2013 Graceland Lighting Ceremony can follow Elvis on LiveStream and watch LIVE online!

I read that this lightning event can even be seen from the moon...

Doubt that Jerome. Yet it would be nice if they would project Elvis' face on the moon for all the world to see! Anyway, Elvis loved this seasonal feast. So it is nice that they keep up the tradition.
