Yesterday, a delegation of the ElvisMatters staff flew over to London to visit Myrna Smith in the hospital and to wish her a speedy recovery. Since she was taken to the hospital on March 10th, she hadn't seen too many visitors and, basically, was left by herself. In fact, they were the first fanclub to drop by and bring her all kinds of presents that she needed while being in the hospital - especially since her luggage is still at the airport. And of course they brought a large bouquet of flowers to make sure she would feel better. Next to Myrna's bed was another bouquet of flowers, sent by Jerry Scheff which was REALLY nice! Myrna thanked the members of ElvisMatters over and over, and recorded a spoken message for you. As you'll hear, she still sounds frail but is desperate to perform again. If all goes well, she'll be on her way to Vienna on Monday or, more likely, Tuesday.
