Update December 16, 2009 from Elvis Unlimited:
Darwin Lamm, former publisher of the Elvis International Forum Magazine has sold the officially licensed magazine to Kjell H. Bjørnestad of Norway. Kjeil is now the new publisher of the Elvis International Magazine. And the magazine will first be released in Norway.
Darwin Lamm says, "It's not easy to move on from a project like Elvis International Magazine, but after 20 years, it's time to move on to other Elvis Projects. I personally want to thank the friends of Elvis who have been there for me throughout the years and the fans who I have personally come to know as family. I am very thankful the new publisher, Kjell Bjørnestad, has not only been associated with Elvis Projects, but also for the past year has been contributing his thoughts and ideas to the magazine. Kjell is a huge Elvis fan and someone who will continue with the same positive enthusiasm for Elvis. Good luck to you Kjell, and through your efforts may the memory of Elvis live on for another 20 years"
Kjeil says, "My name is Kjell H. Bjørnestad, and i am the new publisher of Elvis International Magazine.
I've always been a huge Elvis Presley fan. I grew up with gospel music and started to sing with my family in churches at an early age. My passion for Elvis lead me to this wonderful magazine and to a whole new challenge in my live creating, with Darwin Lamm, the world's ultimate magazine. We will bring you this quality magazine four times a year. Every magazine will be a collectors item! We will work hard at Elvis International to satisfy all your Elvis needs. It's a pleasure and an honor for me to be a part of this magazine. I look forward to collaborating with Darwin, who started it all. I will strive to earn my place as the new publisher. Keep the flaming star of Elvis Presley forever alive and burning."
