Not sure what all the fuss is about in Breda when Parker tried to distance himself from the place. He was not proud of his heritage so why the celebrations??

I've heard on the grapevine that JAT Productions are releasing a commemorative Colonel Parker cigar to mark the occasion. It'll be hyped up to the hilt (obviously) and will claim to include a photograph of a piece of paper that Elvis was reading when Parker walked past him smoking one of the cigars. Of course, when you get it (if it's not already sold out) it will contain nothing of the sort. Another JAT release that isn't what it claims. Go get that dollar, Joe!
