Elvis Presley In Concert - The New Tour is now officially confirmed for Spring 2010. It's nothing less than a small miracle that the show will tour again. After all, it was Priscilla herself who announced the 'very last screen show' at the Fed Ex Forum in Memphis, on August 16th 2007.

I for one would like an opportunity to see this. Even if it's just to bring back old memories of the live concert I saw long, long ago. It would be nice to be taken back to those days for just a little while. I am most certainly Indescribably Blue.

I saw Elvis The Concert at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis a few years ago. This was before the show incorporated some of the film footage from the 50's. The bulk of the show was from Aloha and TTWII. The film for How Great Thou Art was from On Tour, but the vocal for that song was from Live On Stage in Memphis. (The producers wanted to use the Grammy winner version for the show, albeit the On Tour version is just as good). Anyway, the show was no less than spectacular. The orchestra, back up singers, and the TCB band were outstanding. They would've been worth the ticket price without the video presentation! If this new tour swings through the U.S. I will certainly go again. There isn't an impersonator on the planet that can out do this production, and I hope all of the fans world-wide will get their chance to see it.

I have been to the shows in Memphis,Tennessee and in Manhattan, New York, and in Atlantic City, New Jersey. And its the closest, that one, will ever get to a real Elvis concert ! Its Exciting, Its Rock-N-Roll, Its magic, Its Great, Its Elvis !! Don't miss the show, if it comes to your town !! I sure hope they do an American Tour !!! One thing the promoters must do, make sure people know its Elvis in the show and not some Elvis Impersonator !!

I saw this show first time around when it played in the (appropriately named) King's Hall in Belfast. I've got to say that anybody who is holding off on seeing this spectacle for any reason needs to seriously rethink. It was such a wonderful experience. The singers I admire the most all died before I got to see them in concert (Elvis, Freddie, Roy - seen Tom Jones and he was amazing :D) but when you see a big star in concert today unless you're near the stage all you get to see is a blur moving around the stage and a big video screen showing the main action. So this show felt as real as it could feel to someone like me who will never get to see the real Elvis and it was still amazing. Sure, I knew every nuance of the performances because I have all the DVDs and albums etc but the big selling point for me was the atmosphere. Thousands of other Elvis fans gathered together in one room all 'living' through an Elvis show and knowing that most of the other people in the room 'get it'. And that is a rare feeling for an Elvis fan, espcially for one under the age of forty. Being a dedicated Elvis fan comes with so much baggage these days that it's so nice to be able to be among that many other like minded people and enjoy a concert in the same way without feeling you belong to a scary hardcore minority of some sort, the way most peple think of Elvis fans. I hope the show comes back this way again because I'll be there once again.

I saw it in 2000 at Wembeley Arena and it was fantastic. Can't wait to sit again... My God I am so happy... I don't mean to be rude ; BUT since 2000 and I saw them 2008; elvis 2008 fan club tours, their performance especially the vocals had been decreased a little bit I know u're saying they are not in thier mid 30s but maybe with a little younger back vocal support it could do so well. Well, at the end.. the Sweets are legend !!!

The concerts with the TCB Band plus extra orchestra are super, though I always miss Elvis. I never witnessed this event. It will be fabulous with capitals. Hope this will also come to (the continent of) Europe ! ! !

I have seen this Concert now some 16 times and I never get tired of it. For those who have not seen it then do not hesitate - it is a must. It's great to see a large crowd respond the way they do to the performances. I will definately be going again.

I have seen this event in Munich many years ago and really enjoyed it. I agree that this is the closest you can get to an Elvis live concert today and would never ever watch any Elvis musical or impersonator in my natural life. But I wonder if this is another version with other videos today or is it just the same thing going on tour again. How many concert versions are there anyway. I guess they dont have much choice for shows after Aloha if they dont want to show the CBS shows.

This fantastic news, really can't believe it. Seen show at least 5 times in the Uk, and the two shows in Memphis 2007. Can anyone provide any more info on this latest development. Other than all the major European fan clubs printing the same article, there doesn't appear to be anything in concrete. Hope it's not a hoax, i'm off to the box office with my sleeping bag!!

Well, in relation to the 75th birthday, it might seem the last round they will give it. Don't get me wrong folks, but I never could attend these events. It just feels kinda strange to me, I like electronical duets. But this is getting too far imho. Feel free to mail me on my argument. don't wanna spoil the discussion here.

I think this is great news!! I last saw the show in Memphis 2007. It was sad when Priscilla said that the show was shutting down. I've seen it many times in NYC/Connecticut/and Memphis. I know it can't go on forever w/everyone gettin up there in age (except Elvis of course), but 1 more go around w/original players would be great. I can't wait for more details. This show is different from all the electronical stuff (duets, etc). It's as close as you're gonna get to the real thing and it opens up the experience for a whole new generation of fans.

I didn't go to this show when it first toured UK (2000, I think) because I thought it was a gimmick. A colleague who did go loved it and recommended it strongly. I went to it in London Arena, Belfast Odessey, Hammersmith Apollo and twice in Memphis - the Pyramid in 2002 and the Fedex Forum in 2007. I really, really recommend it to everyone. Elvis fans - it is a must especially if, like me, you never saw the great man in the flesh. It is also a great introduction to Elvis for not-yet-fans; the enduring class and style of the man really comes through. When the audience stands up cheering as American Trilogy ends, believe me, you'll know the true definition of "X Factor"; you'll know why grown people cry (yep guilty); and you'll know why Elvis lives.

I saw the tour twice in 2000-01 and was hugely impressed. Then I saw them again in Memphis in 2007 - a concert I left regretting I went there. They are old now. Very old. So old that their fingers are no longer able to perform the music like they used to. Especially James Burton had become a shadow of himself. What was left of the concert were an almost ghostly experience where a bunch of old men were stabled on stage to let the diciples worship their dead God once more. It really was that creepy in my opinion.

Does anyone know, if this is going to be the same screen show in the background -and has it always been the same- or would Elvis say : "Its Diffrent Now" ???

JTHA80, EPE are usually the last people to give out news. Believe me, I have had an e-mail from the Producer of the Show, Stig Edgren, and the European Tour in the Spring of 2010 is confirmed.

I've ssen it 4 times here in Europe (Paris, Bercy 2000, Rotherdam Ahoy 2001, Amterdam Heineken Music Hall 2003, and Brussels Forest National 2005) Each time i saw it i went nuts! It's Fantastic, Breathtaking...

This time thay have to add younger band members and back up singers too. 2 drums, 2 electric guitar maybe and a huge vocal group... Unless the show won't be an original just a shadow of it's own. No offense. people are getting old as it's natural so their ability (Even for Elvis) can not be strong enough as before. ...STIG EDGREN ... Read this message coming from a 26 year old bot who attended elvis the concert, elvis fan club concerts and saw Graceland. Young people need to know Elvis as electrifying as ever... God blessall the original members we adore them but now with a little younger help, ELVIS IN CONCERT can pack huge arenas again and again then strangers say: "Wow ELV1S LIVES!..."

I would love to attend this. My first time, I went Aug 16,1998 at the Las Vegas Hilton. I cried during the 1st 3 songs, completely undone and overwhelmed by the memories. Then the Memphis Coliseum, where Elvis had been, in 2000. One last time, the Aladdin theatre in Vegas. That seat was front row and so incredible! Yes, the audience really does add to the atmosphere. Gotta give the cast credit for still wanting to do this... I am sure this will be superb for you all 'over there'. :)
