The text for the Elvis conspiracy:

What can we say? A persistent belief is that "the King" did not die in 1977. Many fans persist in claiming he is still alive, that he went into hiding for various reasons. This claim is allegedly backed up by thousands of so-called sightings. The main reason given in support of the belief that Presley faked his death is that, on his grave, his middle name Aron is spelt as Aaron. But "Aaron" is actually the genuine middle name for Presley. Apparently, either Presley or his parents tried to change the name to "Aron" to make it more similar to Presley's stillborn twin, Jesse Garon Presley. Two tabloid newspapers ran articles covering the continuing "life" of Presley after his death, in great detail, including a broken leg from a motorcycle accident, all the way up to his purported "real death" in the mid 1990s.

You can read the complete Top 30 on the newspaper's website.

Anything is possible in the U.S. when you've got clout and lots of money...He went to see Nixon (not to have a cup of coffee with Richard, but talk man-to-man and ask for mouch more than just the badges). EP could have orchestrated it all...also according to insiders who still keep on wondering...A Canadian mag published some years ago EP in a wheelchair on the Graceland grounds' lawn after opening hours....Does anyone know more about this...please share info with us.

BBManTwo: Sorry, but would you mind clarifying for me please? In your post, are you being sarcastic/funny; or are you in all seriousness suggesting the whole "Faked his death" bollocks is worthy of consideration?

Elvis had to fake his own death because the FBI were after him for shooting Kennedy and hiding Jimmy Hoffa on the moon with Jesus.

I love stories like this! They are hysterical. Great relief from reading about the economy, war, etc. There are some people in this world who will never be allowed to die: John Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, & Elvis. Even poor Diana can't rest in peace.

I think number 5 is supposed to be referring to the Illuminati.

Regarding the middle name, Elvis was born Elvis Aron because Vernon mis-spelt Aaron on the birth certificate. In adult life, Elvis had it changed to the correct spelling and that's how it appears on his grave stone. Simple as that.

In reply to some of the questions formulated by several readers, it must be said that NOBODY ever requested Elvis' Life Insurance Co. for payment of those 25million dollars he was covered with...Isn't that strange ? Not even is heir, Lisa Marie did NOT apply for those U.S.$25mio... Can someone explain it ? And can Canadian fans shed some more light on the publication in one of those mags that showed EP sitting in a wheelchair...grey beuatiful hair (like Vernon) NOT being overweight but looking good at the lawn of Graceland (after or before visiting hours). Also it was reported that the day E died folks have seen someone like him sneaking out the backdoor and into the path that led to Vernon's house...any truth in that ? Even Elvis' cousin who took that picture of E in his coffin downstairs, at night, to collect a 50 thousand dollars check from the Nat Inquirer Mag...found E's body to be strange and not really recognizeable to be his cousin, Elvis... Now you guys also know that in the U.S. someone with lots of money (or criminals after their jail terms are finished, can go "undercover" for the rest of their lives, with a new name, new identity and new, worked-on face (surgery)...Did Elvis ask Nixon for such treatment (which is of course seldomly granted and only for very few...but since E said many times since 1973 onwards that it was very tough to live up to an image...everybody expects you to be 12 ft. tall and have an aurore around your head...walking on water and performing miracles all the time.

A great book released a feww years ago was ' the secret files' by british journalist John Parker. The freedom of information act allowed the author to access over 3000 pages of previously secret files. Among what Todd Slaughter called 'explosive material' is the fact that on the day Elvis died '..evidence from himself and his father was to be presented to a federal grand jury in a fraud case at the heart of a much wider investigation involving billions of dollars of phoney bonds and key mafia figures ... that the FBI were so worried about protecting Elvis' life that they had undercover agents in his entourage on what was to be his last tour...' Its an intriguing book that first gave us stories of the blakmail during the army years and the discrepancies in the witness reports of the final days ( the ambulencemen, gingers..) veeeeery interesting.

Project MK-ULTRA, or MKULTRA, was the code name for a covert CIA mind-control and chemical interrogation research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence. The program began in the early 1950s, continuing at least through the late 1960s, and it used United States citizens as its test subjects. The published evidence indicates that Project MK-ULTRA involved the surreptitious use of many types of drugs, as well as other methodology, to manipulate individual mental states and to alter brain function. And two death's happened because of this. Harold Blauer, a professional tennis player in New York City, died as a result of a secret Army involving MDA, Frank Olson, a United States Army biochemist and biological weapons researcher, was given LSD without his knowledge or consent in 1953 as part of a CIA experiment, and died under suspicious circumstances (initially labeled suicide) a week later following a severe psychotic episode. A CIA doctor assigned to monitor Olson's recovery claimed to be asleep in another bed in a New York City hotel room when Olson jumped through the window to fall ten stories to his death

9/11 a conspiracy THEORY? I thought theories are needed to explain something that cannot be proved. As a matter of fact buildings do not collapse into dust by themselves - and neither do fires pulverize buildings at freefall speed, which is a complete contradiction to every law of physics there is. I don't understand why the obvious use of explosives on 9/11 (can bee seen on almost every vid out there) is said to be a THEORY. Amen. On topic: Elvis rocks!

Yeah, I’m with Harvey on this one. But if he is alive, I hope he’s on some tropical island somewhere enjoying a Piña Colada and NOT dwelling around his old house in Memphis in a wheelchair “after hours”…
