Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Michael McDonald, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Randy Travis and Jo Walker-Meador are the fifth class of inductees to the Music City Walk of Fame.
They will be officially recognized with the unveiling of commemorative sidewalk markers on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashvlile. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
All of the inductees except Walker-Meador are well-known names in the entertainment industry. Walker-Meador served as executive director of the Country Music Association from 1961-1991 and played an important role in that genre's growth.

This is wonderful news! I hope I can attend. Also, check out the Apollo Theatre in Chicago. There is a play going on there about Elvis & the Million Dollar Quartet in a mystery about ELvis' girlfriend at the time. All of this is pretty great stuff!
Trace Adkins is so well known that I've never heard her/his? name before this article. Congrats Elvis, at least the whole world knows your name.
Yes, well I've never heard of lots of European stars either. So that makes us even. Look HIM up using Google and learn. Trace is quite successful here.
Yes he is,now someone please tell me why!
I would like someone to find out why Lisa Marie and/or Priscilla did not attend this ceremony?!
It was wonderful of Joe Moscheo of the Imperials to accept the award for Elvis. Makes you think, however, that neither daughter nor exwife cared enough to attend when it's thanks to Elvis that they are living the lifestyle they are...
