McFarlane Toys showcases Elvis Presley in one of his most famous on-stage performances, wearing one of his most renowned jumpsuits - The American Eagle. Celebrate music's greatest icon in a performance that has never been equaled - or forgotten. Due for release August 2008.
On January 14, 1973, the first-ever concert live via satellite beamed its way to 40 countries and 1.5 billion people! With his Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii concert, Elvis Presley made music history yet again. The concert was a worldwide smash and features the King of Rock 'n' Roll at his very best.

Who parted his hair? Moses? And why has he got a multi-coloured toilet seat around his neck? Some people would stick a dog turd on their mantlepiece if it has Elvis's name on it. All McFarlane have done is paint a jumpsuit on an old Liberace doll anyway.

Really not a good job on this one at all, However I have a Joe DiMaggio which is so perfect it even shows his Buck Teeth from his early years with the New York Yankees. I recommend you buy a Joe DiMaggio

I think it looks pretty good and I plan to add it to my collection. I just hope they include the blue cape lining when the item comes out. They DID include the red kick-pleats on the legs, so I hope they get the cape right too.

Seems this doll is too short to recreate ELVIS image... And we see a very thin sideburn...

I think it looks cool. It is not exact but oh well. Some of you complain to much. It is better than not having a Aloha figure at all.

Are Mcfarlane going to do an Elvis doll??!!

I took a look at all 5 photos on McFarlane's website, and I must say that the overall likeness is pretty good. Not perfect, but not bad either. It's certainly better than the robot talking head and the rubber duckie. I've been around for a long time, and I've seen many a Elvis figurine come and go. Basically, they've all been crap, even the whiskey decanters that were selling in the hundreds of dollars back in the 70's and 80's. McFarlane produces quality and affordable figures of many celebrities, and I'm more than happy to buy a few now and then.

I'd rather have a doll of Mariah Carey..

To me it looks like they've taken the Elvis of That's The Way It Is & dressed him in the Aloha Eagle suit.

the 70's figurines just don't do Elvis any justice. The '68 special figure is amazing and the gospel figure from the same Tv special is cool too, but this ? I dunno ...

It doesn't look like Elvis in 1973. It's more like Elvis in "Change Of Habit" or the "On Stage" period.
