Lisa Marie Presley has thanked fans for their support during a difficult week. She was forced to reveal she was pregnant - the latest rumours are she is expecting twins - on March 7, following intense media speculation about her expanding waistline. She took to her MySpace page in a post punctuated with a happy face, and said:

As I stated before, I am very happy for her. Lisa Marie should not pay attention to the non-sense responses you read here and there. There is no reason why people should write such nasty things about another. Those things are shameful and shows the mentality of those involved. Not being a fan of hers I appreciate the news on this site as it is ELVIS' cherished daughter. Lisa Marie, hope you wil have healthy kids.
