Good Times In Promised Land

February 28, 2008 | Music
Released on the Fans Only label is the CD "Good Times In Promised Land - The Stax Recording Sessions". The label does what more import labels do these days, continue series started by BMG. The cover mentions "Essential Elvis Volume 8 73 - 74". All takes come from other official and bootleg releases.

Why,oh,why? The cover is o.k.,but there isn't any new stuff on this CD. FTD will re-release these albums in more complete form and in better sound quality. We just have to wait a few months or years. Hey,Ernst, just a little faster, please!

Some fans are NEVER satisfied. 69 FTD releases in 10 years and still not happy. Elvis has been dead 30 years or would you prefer to buy the next Christmas or Love Songs release from the major label? Andy

Good times in Promised land, that could be Elvis and Sam Phillips writing up a new contract and dealing out Colonel (50%) Parker.
