You'll Never Walk Alone Released

The new import Reeltrax label CD "You´ll Never Walk Alone" has been released.
From the press-release:

About five years ago the legendary „2001“ label released it´s series „How Great Thou Art Sessions Vol. 1 – 3“ and the content was absolutely fascinating – especially for those who just love to hear how Elvis was working in the studio on „his“ gospel music. Still the three cds suffered quite a bit from rather bad sound.

Reeltraxis now able to present a great variety of HGTA-Outtakes on it´s „You´ll Never Walk Alone“-release in absolutely breathtaking sound – much better than you have heard it before.

And if this would not be enough reason to get the cd while you can: Did you ever hear a complete and uncut 12:32 minutes of the first six takes of the title „You´ll Never Walk Alone“? If not, it is now the chance for it! Needless to say that the sound quality on this real treasure is just perfect! The same goes for the unreleased Take 1 of „We Call On Him“.

„You´ll Never Walk Alone“ contains a 16 page-booklet with all necessary information regarding Elvis´ love for gospel music. I never bought the HGTA vol 1-3, but this one might be interesting - mostly because of the 6 takes of You'll Never Walk Alone. And if the sound is as good as they say it's nice to have the rest of the outtakes as well. It's not very often we get get brand new material these days, except for audience recordings and some soundboards (which never sound good in my years..)

I hope they managed the sound better than the amateurish cover. I'll skip it anyway... I bet it'll be on the upgraded HGTA by FTD somewhere in the future.
