Chinese Elvis Christmas Special

November 22, 2007 | Music
BMG China will release a promotional Christmas compilation early December 2007. The compilation is entitled "Christmas Special" but does not contain any Christmas song (China does not celebrate Christmas). According to the World Wide Elvis site rumors are that there are some alternate takes and outtakes on CD although it is not known how many and if they have already been issued.

Track listing:

Reach Out To Jesus / How Great Thou Art / Rock My Soul / Lead Me, Guide Me; Let Us Pray / In The Ghetto / Joshua; Mansion Over The Hilltop / I'm Gonna Walk Dem Golden Stairs / True Love Gravels On A Gravel Road / Follow That Dream / Somebody Bigger Than You And I

Take it easy, Jumpin Jehosaphat, Elvis is not trash, and China is sure a very big market.

Hey there, you don't suppose for one minute that this is actually a World Wide Elvis release only, do you? I think that if you do any checking you'll find that no such release is planned from BMG China. Keep pressin' 'em up in your kitchen, Mr. D!
