Shitty? Now this is BAD LANGUAGE, Lex. Hope you will erase yourself now, as you did yesterday when I used word A$$ using the same rule. Thanks.

In The Ghetto comes out next week. Let's hope we can get a good rally behind that single. It would be great if it could break into the top 10. Anyone who would like to see it doing well in the charts please encourage others to buy, and email radio stations to get some airplay. If you have not been buying the singles, please buy this one.

Why? It had it's original chart success, is a classic and is available on countless cd's. Don't give me that bull about keeping him in the spotlight, new fans, legacy blahblah.

For me John the reason I would like to see this high in the charts, if not at number one, it would make me very proud to see that after all these years that In The Ghetto is still a popular song with the general single buying public as it is with the Elvis fans. I have bought all the singles so far and intend to get the rest, not only do they look great in the original sleeves but seeing Elvis in the top 20 with these songs is great. I know that some people do not like the idea and some feel that they are being forced into buying already available material, but I love these singles and enjoy collecting them, plus there is the added bonus of having them in the charts again. As this one did not go to number one when it was originally released, if we do as joemin suggests, then we may get it there where it should have been when it first came out.

This song as great as it is, will go the way of the other recent releases. Top 15 if it's lucky. I won't buy it as many other fans i'm in contact with won't either. New re-mixed track or a 'duet' - yes. But well known songs that are so readily available -'fraid not.
