Well now we know what SONY stands for, Sneek Out of New York. Close the studios and run with the money, Typical

I tend to think the same way about Sony Mystery Rider these guys seem to pay more attention to fast money than back catalogues no matter how important they stand in music history. But we hold the key to changes, after all FTD was created to counteract a rather profitable hidden market...

I'm not sure how this news matters to us, but I continue to read that the Sony-BMG merger (takeover?) has been less than easy for the German "bride" (the one that owns the RCA catalog). A lot of people cried foul when Japan's SONY bought up the esteemed "Columbia" label (Pictures and record label) some 20 years ago but their most recent merger mated Elvis corporately with Michael Jackson and the Beatles! Weird! Just doesn't seem right!
