New Fan Club Magazines

June 05, 2007 | Other
We received four new fan club magazines, two from the U.K., one from Norway and one from the U.S. Starting with the latter, Bill E. Burk's Elvis World appears to become smaller and smaller, this edition contains some news and two articles; on Sonny West and Chips Moman on Elvis' session at the American Sound studio.

The flashy Norwegian Flaming Star magazine contains news, reviews and articles on the European TCB Band Tour, Elvis' karate teacher Chito-Ryu and Elvis' favorite films (Patton) and "Blue Hawaii" and "Tickle Me" and more.

The Official UK Fan Club Magazine is filled with news and articles by its readers and fan club members on the 1969 sessions, Elvis' Dutch connection, The SUN king and Elvis in the fifties and several more.

We close this run down of new magazine with volume 52 of the Essential Elvis magazine. This issue contains some news, reviews, Elvis on a budget for the fan who needs to make choices, an interview with Ed Enoch, Elvis in New York in 1975 and Trevor Simpson on "Blue Moon".
