So why did they use a pic from Jailhouse Rock, there's plenty of earlier pic's around from this session of "That's Alright"

Because a picture from thats all right tim might show all his teenage imperfections including messy teeth and Pimples, they didnt have pimple removal stuff back then.

the teeth were capped to form the better smile, look at the old photos from early 55.

This pic without his teeth, seems like Elvis is astonished or afraid of something... definitely don't like this effect !

Ironically this picture is from Jailhouse Rock when during filming the movie, he lost a cap , swallowed it and had to be taken to the hospital.
