released? not announced? This label has a very high productivity! Slightly rare picture on the cover. But I'm curious about the song list...

Would someone cage that tiger already! enough already!

This is junk! And the photo on the front cover is absolutely not rare. It's well-known by 99% of the fans.

Let´s see the track list ." nice cover " , but we need something new material .

Really guys, do not understand why we have to wait so many years to get more interesting releases that those 450 thousand die hard fans want to buy right away, but that are just not coming. This one is junk for sure and repeating what we have already bought ten times ! Why not Studio sessions outtakes: GMan,USMale, Monkey and BLove session and PromLand session outtakes. Then on to remaining movie outtakes GGGirls, KCousins, KCreole,Roust, CoH, Speedw, ECEasyGo a.o. Then the Double Albums with "added" bonus tracks like full 6 min version of Don'tthink 2x, etc etc We also want EonTour72 PLUS those 12 concerts (or parts of it) on DVD that goes with it. The same for TTWII Doble CD (just editing and compiling work to be done) plus the MGM Movie show (not entire movie) onDVD to be sold to 450 thousand fans that have been waiting since 72 for it to happen. What is wrong with you guys ?

Anton... in case you didn't notice: nobody reads your bla bla anymore. Make up something new.

I don`t think this page is made for putting other people down, so respect yourselves, people...I like the cover but it is not new, of course; the material isn`t either. So, why it is called "alternate anthology noone knows.

Forget this piece of junk...please..

I don't know about the content (I guess I already own it anyway), but the cover is quite embarassing showing a totally ridiculous Elvis. As ridiculous and grotesque as any people carrying a gun. I can't handle this kind of picture.
JimmyCool wrote on March 30, 2007
I don't think that is a good cover for a CD! Maybe for an inside booklet, but not for a cover. The picture isn't well-known by 99% of the fans, as someone said... it's an alternate of a well-know picture of Elvis carrying that riffle. As for Anton, you shouldn't be so rough on him... he has an opinnion... even if it doesn't make sense sometimes, you all should have a little respect. And, finally, about the tracklist, I think I have already all that on different CDs and I don't think the quality will be better this time... It's more like a copy (or encode) and paste job to me.

I totally agree with PaulfromFrance. An awful picture. A side of Elvis I probably will never understand. A reason not to buy this cd.
The Swamp Fox wrote on April 01, 2007
Well, Paul and Rob......Elvis was a Southern boy as I am. In the South boys are raised on the notion of firearms as necessary tools and the idea of handling, owning, and/or firing a gun is given no second thought. It probably wouldn't seem such an oddity if you asked one of his Southern kinfolk of their opinion of E and his fascination with guns.
PaulFromFrance wrote on April 01, 2007
Swamp... I know that. But I was raised in the South-West, and you know what ? I Hate corridas. Because I have a brain and try to use it. World moves on because some people don't act like their parents. They think by themselves and conclude that sometimes, in some areas, the previous generation (basically, their parents) was wrong. A good tradition is a tradition you can forget or change. I knew this infamous picture before and some others in the same kind. I hate this and I've sold all the books/ magazines with this kind of dirt. I have to say I've lost some respect in Elvis since I knew about his love for killing devices. I understant this feeling is impossible to explain to an American (not only Southerners), so I will not try. I was just expressing my feelings about this picture and I'm happy someone agrees with me. Better than noone, after all. :-)

Hi - I am an American of Italian descent from NJ (no need to talk about family history here!) and I despise guns of all kinds especially the one in this photo. Any gun with a telescopic lens can only be used for killing. I've hated this kind of stuff since JFK was killed in Dallas. Believe it or not, this is the kind of stuff , along with the Nixon meeting, that made Elvis so uncool to many young people in the 70's
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on April 01, 2007
So the picture makes you not want this so called release or is it the fact that the cd itself is a joke? as for guns, when did the south become the place known for guns? we seem to get the blame for many things, gund are everywere and im sure when they were new to the human race, everyone had them, im not a gun collector, ive not even fired a gun in my life outside of a bb gun,and ican say that i understand anyone who collects gun's.with that said,i can understand someone having a gun for protection in there home!
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on April 01, 2007
Typos Typos, i meant to say i cant understand why anyone would collect guns!
PaulFromFrance wrote on April 01, 2007
Steve... Of course I don't believe 100% Americans love weapons, as 100% Spanish people don't love corridas. There are always exceptions and I'm happy you are among them. But I know where the majority stands. This Elvis side is totally childish to say the least (I'm very kind here), and I can't understand why they've picked this picture for the CD cover.
Jerome wrote on April 01, 2007
First of all I wonder where these unfinished master are coming from? Who decided not to finish it? and second, the cover; Elvis' affection with guns is okay to me. I do think the cover is stupid and demonstrates bad taste. I don't believe in Tiger Man cd's. I think it's better to call the tracks ALTERED instead of alternate
Ronaldv wrote on April 01, 2007
Is a picture of elvis with a gun so controversial as this? I think the content is more important. No one has listened to this cd so far, why so negative in advance? Maybe it's better to listen to this one first and then judge again...
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on April 01, 2007
I for one am not gonna waste my money on this nonsence,we judge because the others volumes were just as studid, alternate versions? dont care to spend my money to find out!
