Yes, trouble is that this is just the beginning since for each year to come new material is becoming accessible for everyone. That´s why BMG rush out so many crap comps themselves to take the big bite first. Just imagine how 2007 is gonna be and so on....

I'm guessing that these thrown together Independent Label compilations won't even count as far as chart sales for Elvis' music. Could someone clarify this? I don't see how these Independent labels could count since they are not "official" BMG releases. If these compilations don't count and people start buying this releases, this will really "muddy the waters" & slow down Elvis' music getting more awards. Personally, I'll stick with buying the official releases by Sony/BMG.

Wise decision Dixieland, since 99% of the material on these releases come from BMG/SONY cd´s anyway (!)
