The American Way Volume One - The Hits

November 02, 2006 | Music
From the producers of "American Crown Jewels" and "Finding The Way Home" comes volume one of "The American Way". Uncut sessions as recorded at American Studios, Memphis, during January/ February, 1969. These sessions have been available on home made discs, in a sound quality X generations removed from the original sources. This release should be offering you the real thing from the original "import" tapes, on 5 single volumes. Each accompanied with a 16 pages fully illustrated booklet, featuring rare photos, memorabilia and in-depth information on those exciting times, written by a leading expert on Elvis, the man, and his music.

Volume one, "The Hits" , focuses on the hit singles, pulled from the American Studio sessions:

In The Ghetto / the session [01-21- 69]
Suspicious Minds / the session [01-23-69]
Kentucky Rain / the session [02-19-69]
Rubberneckin' / take 1 [01-21-69] ***
Don't Cry Daddy / undubbed M [01-15-69]
Mama Liked The Roses / undubbed M [01-15-69]
