Shakin' Up The Great Lakes Released

September 13, 2006 | Music
According to updates on the FECC forum the latest Fort Baxter reissue “Shakin' Up The Great Lakes” has been released. This CD features the April 24th, 1977 Ann Arbor, MI show (originally released on the A Profile - The King On Stage vol.1 ). Since the soundboard recording is incomplete the CD also contains the performance recorded two days later in Kalamazoo, MI. Very cool,i hope they continue the classic series, how about the audiance recording from the baxter box sets? or another one from the box sets, that are now too high for most buyers, and they have improved sound and far better liner notes1

Kingelvis35: The reason you don't get a straight answer is these cds are bootlegs (imports) and are illegal. Any Elvis web site I've ever been on have nothing on them either as to where you can buy the stuff..They all just say it's available but don't tell you where you can get it. You might find one of these titles on ebay but not after you go through page after page of other items and then when you do find something, you'll have to sell you're Car & House to buy it. So my best advice is to just keep looking. Good luck!!
