Hopefully this is true. I'm getting old! If they follow what The Beatles on Ed Sullivan DVD release was like, this should be a crown jewel among DVD collections.

This surely is good news. I've been hoping for these and The Dorsey Brothers/Milton Berle/Steve Allen/Frank Sinatra shows to be released in their entirety and in good quality for ages. The released versions of The Milton Berle and Frank Sinatra Shows are in awful quality so let's hope this is the first step to restore these gems to their rightful glory.

If this is true, this is the best news I have heard in 50 years. All the Ed Sullivan performances have never been released. Hound Dog from the 3rd show has never seen the light of day and and most people have never seen Love Me Tender and Heartbreak Hotel from the 3rd show.

According to a story on EIN they are NOT going to be released. Of course who knows what the future holds.

I am a new member. I am 17 years old and have been a die hard Elvis fan for 5 years now. I get made fun of it a lot but I know if they knew more about Elvis, they would learn to love him like I do. Anyways, I have seen some footage of the Ed Sullivan shows and I always wondered if they would ever come out with a copy. I think this is great! If it comes out I'm buying it, as should everybody else! Thanks!
