Legendary Performer On DVD

March 07, 2006 | Video
With the renewed interest in the Legendary Performer-series, it was just a matter of time before the first DVD saw the light. This very release is scheduled for next week, but it’s still unclear on which label, how many copies en weather it’s a factory made DVD or not.

But the content sounds promising, with the original and uncensored “nude scene” with actress Ina Balin, an excerpt from the Houstin Astrodome shows in 1974 and home movies with the late Charlie Hodge.

The chapters are set up into the following categories:
The Fifties / Army Days / The Sixties / Movie Galleries / A Man Called Charro / Aloha From Hawaii / The Seventies

Content includes:
Magnolia Gardens, August 7 1955 (Amateur colour footage)
Tupelo Fair, September 26 1956 (Film and matching sound)
Tupelo Benefit, September 27 1957 (Backstage & on-stage footage)
The Cut Nude Scene from the movie 'Charro'
TV advert for the 'Aloha Album'
TV advert for 'Elvis In Concert'
Home Movies of Elvis & Charlie Hodge
Plus more.
